The ECHO Committee

Ambassador- Bryan Martin
"I have been involved with ECHO for as long as I can remember and for the past two years have held the position as Trustee.

"I believe very strongly in ECHO's charter - assisting the aged in need, and look forward to carrying on the tradition for many years to come."

President - Ian McGregor

I became involved through my association with the late Bill Collins. He invited me to attend a few fund raising functions, a couple at the old South Melbourne Town Hall.

People such as Lou Richards and former jockey, Brendan Clements were there.

Bill kept me informed about ECHO and when Bill became ill we talked a good deal about ECHO and I told him I would look at becoming involved, which I did.

Vice President -Michael Nazzari
I have been involved with ECHO since I left school.

It is an organisation that is very hands on and provides speedy assistance quickly and effectively to elderly persons in need of either medical equipment or a holiday

Vice President - John Collins

I joined the ECHO Committee along with my sister Deborah, after the passing of our father Bill.
We are proud to be continuing the work he started.

Secretary - John O’Hanlon
I have been involved with ECHO since its inception in various roles, but took on the position of Secretary in 1991 after the death of my father and Founder of ECHO, the late Jack O’Hanlon (OAM).

Event Co-ordinator – Margaret Byrne
In 1989 I commenced work on a regular basis as assistant to the Secretary, the late Jack O’Hanlon (OAM). I then continued this position until 1995 when I was appointed Event Co-ordinator/Fundraising Manager for ECH).

My duties involve running and co-ordinating all fund raising activities and all administration for ECHO.
