Qualifying for Support from ECHO

To qualify for support from ECHO recipients must meet the following criteria:

• recipients must hold a current 'Aged Pensioner Card';

• recipients must be referred by a council welfare worker, occupational therapist, doctor etc;

• recipients must be in genuine need of financial assistance and have no means of support or entitlements from family, government or any other welfare groups;

• recipients must agree to having photographs taken, either by a member of ECHO or major and local newspapers for use in any publicity or printed publication that ECHO receives or initiates; and

• where possible recipients will be asked to give a written testimonial or letter of thanks for ECHO to use in publicising the work of the charity.
